The Triple Moon – The eight sabbats of the ancient Celtic calendar, The Wheel of The Year, surrounds a glowing full moon – with Celtic crescents on either side. (Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, Mabon, Samhain)
The Triple Goddess/ Mother, Maiden, Crone – side-by-side, against a dark, midnight, starry sky.
The Mother – The Full Moon – maturity, fertility, nurturing power, creation, abundance, stability – sustaining life, projects and community.
The Maiden – The First Crescent – youth, new beginnings, purity, untamed potential, curiosity, independence, enchantment and the inception of a new cycle.
The Crone – The Third Moon – the wise elder, wisdom, transformation, rebirth, prophesy, deep intuitive knowledge.
There are many layers of burn and detail to discover, with my “trademark” swirly sky and carved-out details, including the stars and crescent moons.
Pyrography is a multi-sensory art form. If you’ve never owned any, you’ll be holding it in you hand long before you actually hang it up!
It is a time-consuming art with no room for error!
A saw-tooth brass hook is already attached and is ready for hanging.
