Inspired by Celtic myth, this fantasy artwork tells the bittersweet story of the Selkie – a creature who lives as a seal in the sea and a woman on land.
Under a luminous full moon, the Selkie wife finds her hidden seal skin and returns to the ocean, leaving her human husband and child behind. Dark yet beautiful, the scene captures the haunting pull of the sea, woven with the textures of rugged cliffs, calm waters, and a house that no longer feels like home.
